It’s smarter to travel in group, new campaign for De Lijn
Public bus company De Lijn has launched a new campaign showing it’s smarter to take the bus or tram. Kick off is a commercial showing a group of ants beating an aardvark in a clever way. Pay-off : It’s smarter to travel in group, take the bus. The 3D-production was done by CC (Creative Conspiracy). De Lijn is also working on an smartphone game featuring the ants of the commercial.
In follow up campaigns, De Lijn will also give the proof why it’s smarter to travel in group. These campaigns will focus on the nature friendliness of public transport and the fact that taking the bus gets you faster through traffic and helps you to get rid of the stress of finding a parking space.

Claiming existing event posters to promote the night bus
To promote the evening and night buses, public bus company De Lijn has launched a large scale guerilla campaign. In all major cities they stuck passe-partouts on existing event posters with the text: whatever you are planning tonight, also plan your transport.
The campaign also has an interactive part. Organisers of events are given the chance to promote their event on the real buses of De Lijn. All they have to do, is to upload their poster on www.nachtlijn.be.

Tabasco makes public transport hot
Duval Guillaume Brussels and Tabasco have won a national competition to design the most creative bus. The competition was organised by De Lijn, responsible for public transport in Flanders, and its saleshouse LijnCom.
The winning bus will be used in real public transport in the city of Antwerp.

De Lijn is the public transportation company for trams and buses in Flanders. De Lijn has chosen to take Duval Guillaume aboard after a pitch between several agencies.
The mission for Duval Guillaume is to create a message for the brand “De Lijn“. De Lijn connects places and people. This is the key message to communicate on a functional and emotional level.
