Katrien Bottez in Jury Eurobest
Creative Director Katrien Bottez is invited to be part of the 2009 Eurobest jury. She will be judging television, print, outdoor and radio. Eurobest, the European equivalent of the Cannes Lions, will be taking place in Amsterdam from November 22nd onwards. Milk enters 64-year old candidate for “so you think you can dance”
Drinking milk on a daily basis helps you stay fit and flexible. To prove this, we did a stunt during the tv-program “So You Think You Can Dance”.
Consternation, when a 64-year old man appears before the jury. Even more consternation when this 64-year old man does his audition in jump-style. The jury couldn’t believe their eyes. They got on their feet, applauded while Leon showed his moves and were flabbergasted when he ended his audition with a split. (*)
Jurymember Jan Kooijman commented: “I don’t think I’d be able to pull that of when I’m your age”. Exactly what we wanted to hear, because right after the show we revealed that the 64-year old was entered by Milk. With his performance, he proved that if you drink milk when you’re young, you’ll be able to dance like Leon when you’re older.

Spa commercial wins grand prix in Kinsale
The commercial “barfight” for Spa Barisart won this year’s grand prix at the Kinsale shark awards. It was the only grand prix allotted in tv. The commercial, which was shot completely under water, also got a golden shark in the category non alcoholic drinks.
And there were more reasons to celebrate. De Lijn “Pinguins” was awarded a silver shark for best animation, Tabasco “Streaker” got shortlisted.
A very sparkling result calling for something very sparkling to drink.
12 metre high construction in the heart of Brussels
For the opening of the brand new meeting centre SQUARE, we really want everyone to be present. Even the wellknown statue of King Albert I will be able to attend the opening festival. It took us some time, but we managed to put him backwards on his horse, making him the honorary guest.
The inauguration of SQUARE will take place on September 20th, some 9000 guests are expected for this spectacular show including concerts, special events and fireworks.

New online talent
New online impulses for Duval Guillaume. One of them is Lander Janssens. Lander won two eurobest awards last year and we won’t mind if he can achieve this once more as one of the new online creatives of Duval Guillaume. Besides Lander, the digital departement will be reinforced by Lieven Dewitte. He worked as a project manager for Sony Europe and will now form the important link between ideas and technique.

Milk Campaign wins Bronze in TV, bringing our total to 4 lions
Yesterday, on the closing night of the Cannes Festival, a bronze lion was given to the tv-campaign for the National Milk Board (VLAM). The campaign consists of two commercials : Milk “Jumpers” and Milk “Freestyler”.
