Tabasco makes public transport hot

Duval Guillaume Brussels and Tabasco have won a national competition to design the most creative bus. The competition was organised by De Lijn, responsible for public transport in Flanders, and its saleshouse LijnCom.

The winning bus will be used in real public transport in the city of Antwerp.

Cepifine chooses Duval Guillaume for European campaign

Cepifine is an international trade association representing the interests of fine paper producers in Europe. After a pitch, the association has chosen Duval Guillaume Brussels as its communication partner throughout Europe.

Duval Guillaume will develop through-the-line campaigns for 13 countries. Promoting fine paper products to various target groups such as paper buyers, consumers, media and students.

We’re very happy with this new client and are looking forward to put some fine work on paper.


DE Senseo wins San Accent

DE Senseo received a San Accent for its recent Café Choco campaign, created by Duval Guillaume Brussels. The award is organized by the SAN (Stichting Adverteerdersjury Nederland) and is the most prestigious award for Dutch advertisers in the Netherlands.


A better view on your future via Dexia

Dexia Bank wants to give you a better view on your future, by guiding you through the financial decisions you have to make. And by explaining their impact on your future life. Duval Guillaume Brussels created a campaign to introduce this.

The TV-campaign shows situations where people have to decide what to do in order to get their dreams realized. A Dexia-voice explains the consequences of their decision. The spots were shot in Argentina by director Koen Mortier (Czar).

In print, the campaign uses satellite views with a roadmap from point A to point B. Illustrating that it’s easier to reach your goal (point B), thanks to the guidance by Dexia. The campaign website guides you through important moments in your life.

Duval Guillaume wins Grand Clio

Clio Awards logoDuval Guillaume Brussels is awarded with a Grand Clio for the campaign ‘A Blind Call’ for the League of the Blind. It’s the first time a Belgian agency wins a Grand Clio.

The Clio Awards is an international recognized advertising competition, with 20.000 entries from all over the world. They have as strong focus on innovation in the advertising industry and groundbreaking work.

The Grand Clio was awarded in the category innovative media. The jury praised the campaign for its new way of thinking and approaching advertising.


Writing with a golden pencil

golden pencilGood news from The One Show in New York: Duval Guillaume Brussels wins a golden pencil for the campaign A blind call for the League of the blind. As from today, we’ll be writing with a golden pencil.

The One Show is one of the highest appreciated award concours on the planet. For this year’s 2008 edition there were 25.000 submissions worldwide. As far as we can recall, this is the first gold pencil ever for a Belgian-based advertising agency. For the record: our memory only goes back to halfway the nineties.


A Blind Call wins Cuckoo Award

cuckooEvery year, the Belgian Direct Marketing Association organizes The Cuckoo Awards, honouring the best direct marketing and interactive campaigns.

This year, the League of the Blind’s A Blind Call received a Cuckoo Award for Out of the Box thinking. A special award only handed out for a unique ‘du jamais vu’ concept.


Effie nominations for Lotus and Douwe Egberts

Effie logoThe Belgian Effie Awards, organized by ACC, UBA and the Marketing Foundation, honour campaigns that achieve real results. This year, two of our clients’ campaigns are nominated: Lotus gingerbread and Douwe Egberts breakfast.

All 7 nominees actually win an Effie Award. That means the nominees are already certain of Bronze. But we’ll have to wait until the Effie gala on the 10th of June to know whether the Bronze turns into Silver or Gold.


Spa nominated for Gouden Loeki

Gouden Loeki‘Restaurant’, the new TV commerical for Spa Reine, has been elected the best commercial of the month March at the Dutch Gouden Loeki awards. At the Gouden Loeki, the Dutch audience selects the best, funniest & most original commercial on TV.

As this month’s winner, the commercial automatically enters the semi final in december.

Cyberlions: silver for GAIA and Hyundai

Hyundai and GAIA both won Silver at the second edition of the Belgian Cyber Lions. These Cyber Lions are organized by IAB and RMB, and want to reward online creativity in Belgium.

Hyundai took home a silver trophy in the category ‘interactive campaigns’ with the i30 launch campaign. GAIA won silver in the categorie ‘online advertising’ with a banner in last year’s anti foie gras campaign ‘torture a goose’.
